Privacy Policy
It applies to every app published by SOS Informatique 44 under the SOS Apps name: Challenge, My Puppy the First Year, SnapCal and Back to Orbit.
In short
- No app asks you to create an account.
- What you enter (workouts, puppy logbook, meals, scores) is stored on your device and is not sent to our servers: we don’t have any.
- We do not sell, rent or share any personal data.
- Back to Orbit shows ads through a third-party network; the other apps show none.

Advertising in Back to Orbit
Back to Orbit is free and ad-supported: ads are shown starting after level 1. The ad network is Google AdMob (Google’s advertising policies). On first launch, Google’s consent form (GDPR) asks for your choice; the “Privacy” link in the game menu lets you change it. AdMob may collect the device’s advertising ID (if you allow it), your interactions with ads, crash diagnostics and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This data is not linked to your identity and we have no access to it.
On iOS, the app asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency); declining removes no feature, ads are simply not personalized. On Android, the advertising ID can be reset or deleted in the phone’s settings. The “Remove ads” purchase removes all ads and disables the network.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details or your identity as a buyer, only an anonymous purchase confirmation. A purchase can be restored from the app (in Back to Orbit: Menu, then Shop, “Restore purchases”) with the same Apple or Google account.
Analytics
No third-party analytics tool is built into the apps. We only look at the aggregated, anonymous statistics provided by App Store Connect and Google Play Console (installs, countries, crashes).
Children
The apps are not specifically aimed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect any data about them. Back to Orbit can be played by children: it asks for no personal information and has no chat or social features.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase and export your data. Since the data lives on your device, you control it directly: deleting the app erases it permanently, and the tracking apps offer an export to a file. For any question, write to apps@sos-informatique44.fr. EU residents may also contact their data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
This policy may evolve with the apps. The date at the top shows the current version; a significant change is announced inside the app concerned.
